Module 10 -- First Post on Discussion Board  - 10 min

Students with last names beginning with A-G: A financial expert for the Wall Street Journal writes: “Credit cards seem like a form of modern day magic. With a little piece of plastic, you can buy almost anything you want using other people’s money.” Using your own words, explain what the author meant. Do you agree? Why or why not?

Students with last names beginning with H-N: What is credit? What are two or three different forms of credit? In what way is credit a gift from heaven? In what way is credit a gift from hell? Explain your answer.

Students with last names beginning with O-Z:
What is the difference between a credit report and a credit score? How are both important tools for tracking your credit history? Explain your answer.

Task 1:  Input your 2022 Budget on to a spreadsheet -- 25 min

1. Make a copy of this file -- eBudget.
2. Share it with me -- georgina.wagoner@evsck12.com
3.  eBudget is similar to check register used by the O'Neill in Mission 4 genirevolution.org

4. Input your 2022 paper budget in the description and payment/deposit columns.
--Two lines will be Paychecks -- divide your monthly salary by 2
--Place the two paychecks 15 + lines apart so that your balance always is "green"
5. Copy the payments over to the category columns.
6.  Reflection:  why must your balance be in the green? 

Task 2: Advise 4 Clients on Loans -- 25 min
Open Module 10 -- Assignment 10-1 
In Pairs: read and assess a client's situation.
Share Out: explain the situation to the rest of class and share your advise.

Exit Slip:  Alone: write RACE response to each one sentence responses in Assignment 10-1 -- 10 min

Homework:  Several students did not submit Module 9.  Please Submit and Finish by Friday.
